Chris Murray is not only native to North Carolina; he is native to the triangle area. Born and raised in Chapel Hill, Chris fell in love with the area and never left. When he graduated from ECU, Chris went to work for a mortgage credit report agency that had accounts up and down the east coast. One of Chris’ customers suggested that he come and work for his mortgage company, and the rest is history. Chris has been originating loans since 1996 and can’t imagine doing anything else. His favorite parts of being a loan officer is getting to meet new people, solving problems and teaching first time home buyers about the mortgage process.

In his free time, Chris loves to vacation, go to an ECU football game, and spend time with his family, including his 3 furry children, Leo, Stella and Penny. Chris loves traveling and his favorite place he has visited is Edinburgh, Scotland.
